Answer: The Beaver Creek Design Review Board meets on the third Wednesday of every month and applications are due three weeks prior to that meeting.
In general, the time from the submittal of an application to approval from the DRB is no longer than one month. Larger more complex applications may take several months to review over the course of multiple meetings. Answer: You do not need approval from the DRB for routine maintenance work, including the re-painting or re-staining of your residence as long as you are continuing to use the same colors and or materials.

The DRB staff will inspect the property and issue a certificate of compliance if all the work is completed per the approved plans. Once a certificate of compliance is issued, the DRB staff will request a refund of the compliance deposit from our accountant. Generally speaking, you will receive the refund within approximately three weeks from the day that you call to request a final inspection.
The meeting is an opportunity to discuss the scope of the project, location of any dumpsters or toilets, the construction staging area, contractor parking, and the Beaver Creek Construction Rules and Regulations. Pre-construction meetings in Beaver Creek are held on Tuesdays at the property. Please contact our office by pm on the preceding Friday to schedule this meeting. Answer: Projects that have minimal exterior impacts or are considered routine may be staff approved independent of the regularly scheduled monthly DRB meeting in order to expedite the project prior to formal review by the DRB.
The DRB staff will determine if a project requires formal Board review and approval. Each application and the resulting review process will be determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the complexity, scope and exterior impact of the proposed plan. Please note that staff approvals must be ratified by the DRB at a regular meeting and any work performed by the owner prior to ratification is at their risk.
Answer: To schedule a final inspection, please call our office at to request this inspection. To request a foundation or framing inspection, please submit an Improvement Location Certificate ILC indicating the location of the foundation or the roof ridges to our office and the DRB staff will conduct the inspection. The Owner must file a written appeal with the FAC that contains a brief statement of the factual and legal grounds of the appeal.
If the Owner fails to file a written appeal with the FAC within such five-day period, the Owner shall have no further right to appeal the fine. If the Owner files a written appeal within such five-day period, the FAC may review such appeal and deliver a written decision within thirty days after its receipt of such appeal or ii waive its right to hear such appeal, in which case an Owner may proceed in accordance with the Resort Company's Fine and Penalty Appeal Regulation.
